Dr. Kozlov received his medical degree from Novosibirsk Medical Institute in Russia in 1984. Before doing his pathology residency, he was a practicing physician specializing in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Dr. Kozlov is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He completed his AP/CP pathology residency where he was chief resident at UMMC, Jackson, MS from 2001-2005, and then his surgical pathology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles from 2005-2006. Since completing his fellowship, Dr Kozlov has served as staff pathologist at Tarzana Hospital, which is now Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center. He also was a Medical Lab Director at Pacifica Hospital of the Valley and at Motion Picture & Television Fund. Dr. Kozlov's areas of expertise include genitourinary, breast, GYN, and GI pathology. He is proficient in urine FISH analysis.
